Ingredients
  

Cake Ingredients

  • 250 g All-purpose flour
  • 200 g Granulated sugar
  • 120 g Unsalted butter Softened
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 120 ml Milk

Sauce Ingredients

  • 100 g Brown sugar
  • 100 ml Heavy cream
  • 1 tsp Sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
  • In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Sift together flour and baking powder, then gradually add to the creamed mixture, alternating with milk.
  • Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake for 50 minutes.
  • For the sauce, combine brown sugar, heavy cream, and sea salt in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until smooth.
  • Drizzle the sauce over the cake before serving.
