Instructions
Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
Cook the rice with 300 ml of water in a rice cooker or pot.
Once cooked, let the rice cool and mix in rice vinegar, sugar, and salt.
Place a nori sheet on the bamboo mat and spread a layer of rice evenly over it.
Arrange cooked shrimp, cucumber, and avocado horizontally across the rice.
Roll the sushi tightly using the bamboo mat, applying gentle pressure.
Slice the roll with a sharp knife into bite-sized pieces.
Serve with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger.
Notes
Store rolled sushi in the refrigerator, best consumed fresh.
