  • 1 oz coffee liqueur (such as Kahlúa)
  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup milk (whole milk for a creamier texture)
  • 2 tbsp chocolate syrup
  • Ice cubes
  • Whipped cream for garnish
  • Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare Your Glass

  1. Chill your glass in the freezer for about 10 minutes to keep your drink cold longer.
  2. Optionally, you can rim the glass with chocolate syrup for an extra touch of sweetness.

Step 2: Blend the Milkshake

  1. In a blender, combine the vanilla ice cream, milk, and chocolate syrup. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add a handful of ice cubes and blend again until the mixture reaches a thick, milkshake-like consistency.

Step 3: Mix the Drink

  1. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the vodka and coffee liqueur. Shake well to mix.
  2. Pour the vodka and coffee liqueur mixture into the chilled glass.

Step 4: Combine and Garnish

  1. Slowly pour the chocolate milkshake into the glass over the vodka and coffee liqueur mixture, creating a layered effect.
  2. Top with whipped cream and garnish with chocolate shavings or a dusting of cocoa powder.
