  • Author: Alex Morgan

Ingredients

  • Fresh peaches: 3-4 ripe peaches, sliced.
  • Peach nectar: 2 cups for a strong peach flavor.
  • Orange juice: 1 cup to add a zesty kick.
  • Pineapple juice: 1 cup for tropical sweetness.
  • Lemon-lime soda: 2 cups for fizz and fun.
  • Ice cubes: To keep it cool.

Fun Extras:

  • Bourbon or peach schnapps: 1 cup for a boozy version.
  • Fresh mint leaves: Adds a fresh flavor and looks great.
  • Berries: Strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries make it colorful and tasty.
  • Sparkling water: For a lighter, less sweet option.

Instructions

Here’s how to make Southern Peach Punch:

Step 1: Get Everything Ready

  • Wash and slice your peaches.
  • If you’re using berries, rinse them and set them aside.
  • Chill the peach nectar, juices, and soda in the fridge for at least 2 hours.

Step 2: Mix the Base

  • In a large punch bowl or pitcher, pour the peach nectar, orange juice, and pineapple juice.
  • Stir them together until they’re well mixed.

Step 3: Add the Bubbles

  • Right before serving, pour in the lemon-lime soda to keep it fizzy.
  • Add sparkling water if you want a lighter punch.

Step 4: Toss in the Fruits

  • Add the peach slices, berries, and ice cubes to the punch.
  • For a fancy touch, lightly mash some mint leaves and mix them in.

Step 5: Make It Boozy (Optional)

  • If you want an alcoholic version, stir in bourbon or peach schnapps.
  • Adjust the amount based on how strong you want it.

Step 6: Serve and Enjoy

  • Pour the punch into glasses or mason jars for a fun look.
  • Garnish with a peach slice, mint sprig, or a skewer of berries.
