- 2 oz vanilla vodka
- 1 oz key lime juice (freshly squeezed or bottled)
- 1 oz triple sec or Cointreau
- 1 oz simple syrup
- 1 oz heavy cream or half-and-half (optional for a creamier texture)
- Ice cubes
- Graham cracker crumbs for rimming the glass
- Lime wheel or twist for garnish
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare Your Glass
- Chill a martini glass in the freezer for about 10 minutes to ensure your drink stays cold longer.
- Rim the glass with graham cracker crumbs. To do this, run a lime wedge around the edge of the glass, then dip it into a plate of crushed graham crackers.
Step 2: Mix the Drink
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
- Add the vanilla vodka, key lime juice, triple sec or Cointreau, simple syrup, and heavy cream (if using) to the shaker.
- Shake well for about 15-20 seconds until the mixture is well-chilled and frothy.
Step 3: Strain and Serve
- Strain the mixture into the prepared martini glass.
- Garnish with a lime wheel or twist for a finishing touch.
