  • Triple Sec or Cointreau: 1 oz
  • Fresh Pineapple Chunks: 1 cup (frozen)
  • Pineapple Juice: 2 oz
  • Lime Juice: 1 oz (freshly squeezed)
  • Simple Syrup: 1 oz (optional, for added sweetness)
  • Ice: 1 cup

Optional Ingredients for Variations:

  • Coconut Cream: For a pina colada twist
  • Jalapeño Slices: For a spicy kick
  • Mint Leaves: For a refreshing herbal note

Instructions

Preparation: Start by preparing your ingredients. If you’re using fresh pineapple, cut it into chunks and freeze them ahead of time. Prepare fresh lime juice and simple syrup if needed.

Mixing:

  1. Rim your margarita glasses with a lime wedge and dip them in salt (optional).
  2. In a blender, combine:
    • 2 oz tequila
    • 1 oz triple sec or Cointreau
    • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
    • 2 oz pineapple juice
    • 1 oz lime juice
    • 1 oz simple syrup (optional)
    • 1 cup ice
  3. Blend until smooth and frosty.

Serving: 4. Pour the mixture into the prepared margarita glasses.
